SUSAN LEASK - ARTIST

Artist. Creator. Visionary.

I reside in Ipswich, Queensland.  I enjoy depicting the coastal beach scenes that are prevalent in Southeast Queensland.  I have enjoyed art all my life and I am self-taught.  I work mainly in acrylic as I like the colours and style it allows me to achieve. I also enjoy depicting the beauty and vibrancy of birdlife and water scenes.  I often create images from my imagination and enjoy depicting unique one-of-a-kind abstract pieces.  Lately, I’ve been experimenting and developing my skills and processes. I find inspiration everywhere I look, and that inevitably filters down into my work.

I have sold many artworks over the years but only recently I have begun to share my work more through social media.  I have been a member of the Ipswich Art Society and have been a judge for local art competitions.  Over the years I have worked on murals for businesses and I have been commissioned to produce unique art pieces.

I have been told my artwork is individualistic in style and brings joy and inspiration to the viewer.
